Autor

T.H. White (1906-1964), born in Bombay, British India, was an English author best known for his retelling of the Arthurian legends in "The Once and Future King." Raised in England after his parents separated, White attended Queen's College, Cambridge, where he was encouraged to pursue writing. Initially a schoolteacher, White eventually became a full-time writer, gaining fame with "The Sword in the Stone" (1938), the first of his Arthurian series. A reclusive figure with interests in medieval history and falconry, White's work reflects his deep philosophical inquiries into power, morality, and the human condition. He never married and grappled with his sexuality throughout his life. White leaves behind a lasting legacy in modern literature.
